Skin Care Tips

  • Gently wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water.
  • Avoid strong soaps and detergents. Choose mild cleansers instead.
  • Regular, gentle exfoliation can help to remove build up and regenerate the skin.
  • Keep your showers and baths on the short side and use warm water instead of hot.
  • After cleansing, gently pat the skin dry, keeping it damp to retain some moisture, then apply moisturizer.
  • Use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 whenever you’re outdoors and reapply every two hours. Many daily moisturizers are now formulated with sun protection.
  • Don’t smoke. Smoking robs the skin of oxygen and essential nutrients, diminishes collagen and elastic, and contributes to wrinkles.
  • Eat a healthy diet full of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins to nourish your skin from the inside out.
  • Drink at least 8 cups of water a day to help keep the skin hydrated.
  • Minimize or manage stress as stress can lead to skin sensitivity, acne breakouts and other skin problem.
